This year, Dragon*Con will be held Labor Day weekend (August 31 - September 3, 2012) in Atlanta, GA.

• Dragon*Con is pleased to announce that the Ga. Chapter of the ALS Association is our official charity for 2012. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a motor neuron disease that usually attacks both upper and lower motor neurons and causes degeneration throughout the brain and spinal cord. Most commonly, ALS strikes people between the ages of 40 and 70, and as many as 30,000 Americans have the disease at any given time.
• For the 2011 show we raised $40,000 for our charity the National Inclusion Project and collected over 8000 units of blood from 2,170 doners at our blood drive.
• Due to a decrease of usage, childcare will no longer be offered effective with the 2012 show. If you have already purchased a badge for your child to utilize childcare, please contact the Dragon*Con office to request a refund.
• The Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Hyatt Regency, Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, and Atlanta Hilton Hotel are sold out for the 2012 show. The Westin Peachtree Plaza has rooms available on Saturday and Sunday only. Click here for booking info.
