DJ Spider

It's hard to categorize DJ Spider's style - with a love of multiple genres, she'd had a chance to spin just about everything over the last 25 years, including pop, rock, dance, house, indie, retro, darkwave, country, R&B, swing, jazz, and just about everything in between. With her diverse love of music, you'll probably get a little something you didn't expect at one of her gigs and you'll probably smile at least once.

She was voted “Charlotte’s Best Party DJ” for 7 years (2006-2011, 2013) by the readers of Creative Loafing, and continues to remain active both in Charlotte and across the south. Locally, she currently holds residencies at the Visulite for Big Mamma’s House of Burlesque, Digital Noir at the Milestone, and Cheap Thrills at the Gin Mill. Spider has also been a sci-fi convention DJ for over ten years, with regular appearances at HeroesCon, ConCarolinas, Dragon Con, ConVergence and more.

In her free time, Spider can be found cooking, cosplaying, indulging in geekery and maintaining a number of pets. And, yes, she really is that tall.
