Science Fiction Literature

Director: Sue Phillips

The Science Fiction Literature track is a place for all fans of the written word.  Our goal is to help fans learn, meet their favorite authors and enjoy the genre with others of like minds. Find new writers, introduce others to your favorites, debate the merits of hard science vs space opera, play word games and answer trivia questions.  If you love to read, this is the place to be.

The Science Fiction Literature Track welcomes everyone in 2017! We concentrate on the scientific fiction, as our name suggests. If you like discussing what and what if, if you enjoy learning new things and finding out about the nuts and bolts of your favorite sci-fi, if you want to meet new people and make new friends, this is the place for you!

In addition to old favorites such as Jeopardy and editorial presentations, we will present interviews with attending authors, discussion groups on subjects like fandom, writing and reading. The little free library returns to help the track room become a welcoming place for those who love the written word. Panelists and audience exchange thoughts and ideas on the field, discovering new favorites and revisiting old ones.

You can also find us at Yahoo Groups, on Facebook or on Twitter. We have discussions throughout the year on what we would like to cover and suggestions from fans for topics to discuss at the convention are always welcome.
